Crouch is accomplished in business activity and beloved for his fine philan thropies. Mr. Crouch, serving Ashe ville and area, since 1920 in the moving of heavy machinery, safes, boilers, etc., and house moving, offers quick service because he knows how. His integrity and fairminded ness are qualities for which he is honored and trusted wherever he is known, and his dynamic perso nality, his sincerity of purpose, and his devotion to worthwhile principles of thinking and living have endeared him to a host of personal friends and others who know him by reputation. His po sition is one of distinction in his city and in the whole wide circle of his acquaintance. Mr. Crouch’s advanced ideas along his business and his sound judgment of business affecting improvements to public affairs are regarded as invaluable by his associated. He has not only been an able business man but he is a leader in the civic life of his city. In his loyalty and devotion to Greater Asheville, Mr. Crouch has yielded precedence to no man. Whatever his many-sided activi ties are, he is consistently gen erous in donating to worthy causes. Personally there is no more beloved man in Asheville than G. E. His instincts, thoughts, desires, and sympathies fit him perfectly for the position he holds in the business world. Faithfully and hon estly, with few words and many acts, he performs his duties as a man and as a citizen. Mr. Snelson has a wealth of those sterling traits which make him a credit to the city. He is in deed a leading citizen and busi ness leader, always working for the betterment of the people. The consideration of Mr. Snel son for others and his gentleman ly and courteous manner are par ticularly appreciated by his fel low-workers. He has always co operated with others in making not only his city but our great state an outstanding one. Imbued with liberal public spirit, he has been among the devoted friends of the cause of civic improve ments and has always given to it an earnest and zealous support. It is enough to say that in every respect, Mr. Snelson per forms his duties as a citizen with advantage to the people. This oc casion does not even permit an outline of Mr. Snelson’s high en dowments and accomplishments, but it can truthfully be said that the success of his positions in the business world can be traced di rectly to his ability and skill.
